The Bank will proceed to open the account and the ATM card will be delivered to your mailing address.
The PIN will be delivered
To the mailing address after you receive your ATM card (Delivery time will depend on your registered mailing address).

You will receive your ATM card and PIN
at the counter after 3 working days.
Application Eligibility
- Full 18 years old or above.
- Currently working or living in Ho Chi Minh city.
Document
- ID/ Passport.
- Foreign customers need to provide Visa and other documents following local law.
- Customer need to complete the account application form.

Q1. Can I change my appointment?
A. We understand that you may change your appointment unexpectedly for a number of objective reasons. Please notify the designated staff of the bank to change the appointment. We look forward to receiving timely notifications from you.
Q2. What documents do I need to bring to my appointment?
A. You need to present the original Vietnamese ID card, proof of address (eg household registration book, electricity and water bill) to our staff during the appointment. In addition, for customers who are individuals permanently residing in Vietnam or foreigners, it is necessary to bring a work permit or a temporary residence permit.
Q3. Should I give my deposit to a trusted UOB Vietnam employee?
A. Our trusted staff will never ask you to make a direct deposit to them. Activate your account by transferring funds to your account through the UOB Mighty app, or at a UOB Vietnam branch.
