2. The great heights of Danang

In Danang, your family can discover incredible scenery in every direction. To the north, there’s the Hai Van Pass, one of the most magnificent landscapes in all of Vietnam. In the northeast, the Son Tra Peninsula also boasts spectacular views of the coastline, where there are many unspoiled beaches. The peninsula is also home to Linh Ung Pagoda, where you will find the tallest statue of Buddha in Vietnam. The whole family will be fascinated by Ngu Hanh Son (Marble Mountain), a cluster of five marble and limestone hills located to the southeast of Danang. Last but not least, you can take the cable car to Ba Na Hills, where your family can explore flower gardens, themed villages, indoor and outdoor games, 20 restaurants, the world famous Golden Bridge and much, much more.

With a budget of VND15 – 20 million per person, your family can enjoy many of the above locations and a sumptuous four-day, three-night stay at a 5-star hotel or resort in Danang.

3. Discover “Pearl Island”

On Phu Quoc Island, you can dive into clear and calm waters, and discover the fascinating marine life off the coast of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam, including Bai Sao, Bai Dai and Bai Khem. After the adults have discovered the colourful coral, they can take the kids to the National Park in the northeast of the island to explore the tropical jungle. Kids will also be in paradise at VinPearl Land with a water park and many other exciting outdoor activities and VinPearl Safari is another guaranteed winner. While on Phu Quoc, you can enjoy many interesting excursions. You can visit pearl farms, where you can purchase all kinds of pearl jewellery, fish sauce factories and bee farms, all of which gladly welcome tourists. When the sun goes down, the whole family can embark on a squid fishing expedition. Alternatively, you can head to the local night market and feast on local foods.

For VND10-15 million per person you can enjoy a two-day, three-night trip in Phu Quoc, inclusive of numerous outdoor activities and accommodation at a 4 or 5-star hotel/ resort.

You could easily spend the day just admiring the wondrous limestone islets that rise out of the deep emerald waters. But make sure you visit the iconic Trong Mai islet and the many majestic caves that will astound people of all ages. A trip to Halong is also never complete without checking out one of the floating villages. The bay’s tranquil waters are also perfect for kayaking, snorkelling, and swimming. Rest assured, the kids will be in heaven at Dragon Land theme park or Water Typhoon Park. The most typical way to explore the bay is on a luxurious cruise boat, which is always wonderful, but for a truly ‘out of this world’ experience you can treat the family to a tour in a seaplane.
