UOB Vietnam has launched the UOB SME app, an all-in-one digital banking platform to meet the business and financial needs of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The launch took place at Santori Lounge, located in Centre of District 1 in Ho Chi Minh City with lifestyle concept and intimate atmosphere that bring unique experience to Business Banking clients and partners.

Through the platform, SMEs can check their cash flow data over historical period and get a unified view of all their UOB business accounts, with an interactive dashboard. In addition, the platform offers solutions such as loan financing options and advice on optimizing business plans, based on SMEs’ cash flow trends.

With the app, SMEs will also be able to gain access to UOB BizSmart – a suite of carefully curated business management solutions that help them drive business efficiency such as accounting and e-invoice requirements, human resource and payroll, enterprise resources planning (ERP), payment gateways and point-of-sale platforms that automate and streamline business processes.

The launch of UOB SME app reinforced the long-term commitment of UOB to support SME customers in Vietnam to growth their business and stay vigilant especially in digital economy.

According to ASEAN SME Transformation Study 2022 by UOB Vietnam, in collaboration with Accenture and Dun & Bradstreet, 64 per cent of local SMEs surveyed through this study expressed plans to continue digitalisation and tapping on the digital economy opportunities; and 70 per cent show their response of expect to spend more on technology across the areas of digital marketing and social media, technology and network management, operational processes, and digital sales and servicing.
