On January 10^th, 2025, UOB Vietnam, in collaboration with Dentons LuatViet and some strategic support of media partners, including the Malaysia Business Chamber Vietnam (MBC), the Singapore Chamber of Commerce Vietnam, and Sunwah Vietnam, successfully organized a webinar titled “Gateway to Vietnam: Investment Opportunities for Foreign Investors”. The webinar attracted over 150 registrations from countries such as China, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Hong Kong, reaffirming Vietnam’s position as a top investment destination - ranking third in foreign direct investment (FDI) attraction in the ASEAN region.

Throughout the event, two distinguished speakers, Mr. Hong Chan, Senior Counsel at Dentons Luat Viet, and Mr. Lim Dyi Chang, Country Head of Commercial Banking at UOB Vietnam, provided a comprehensive overview of Vietnam’s investment landscape through some key topics covered included:

• Vietnam’s FDI landscape: Highlighting potential sectors and trends in foreign capital inflows.
• Legal recommendations: Essential legal considerations for foreign investors entering the Vietnamese market.
