Give a child a bike - Help them follow their dreams

Every child has the right to go to school; however for many children, it is not an easy dream to realize. It may be because their parents are not able to pay school fees, buy books and school supplies. Or maybe a child needs a bicycle to go to school which is located far away but his or her family’s financial situation does not allow it.

Not attending school or dropping out of school will create serious consequences, and it is very difficult for them to escape poverty and other difficult situations.

With the desire to open the door to a brighter future for the children, UOB Vietnam launches the "Back to school" program to award bicycles to underprivileged pupils who live far away from schools in Tra Vinh province.

• Program period: from July 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019 (including these two days).
• For every VND 1,000,000,000 (One billion VND) or USD 50,000 (Fifty thousand US dollars) of new deposits from customers, UOB Vietnam will contribute 1 bicycle worth VND 2,800,000 (Two million eight hundred thousand dong).
• Saigon’s Children Foundation, a prestigious non-governmental organization with 27 years of operation in Vietnam, will support UOB Vietnam in giving bicycles to students in Tra Vinh province under this program.
