Notification on Converting Mobile Phone Numbers

    Converting mobile phone numbers from 11 to 10 digits

     

    UOB Vietnam would like to inform customers our plan on converting mobile phone numbers from 11 to 10 digits in accordance with Decision 798/QD-BTTTT dated 25 May 2018 promulgated by the Governor of Ministry of Information and Communications and guidance by the State Bank of Vietnam (letter 6822/NHNN-TT dated 10/09/2018).

     

    1.     Applicable to

    All mobile phone numbers with 11 digits registered by customers with UOB Vietnam.
     

    2.     Conversion period

    Please contact us to update your new mobile phone number from 15 Sep to 15 Oct 2018. If there is no update from you, we will assume that you have agreed for us to update after 15 Oct 2018.

    Calls and messages to the 11-digit phone number will remain until 23:59 on 14 Nov 2018. After which, the number will not be operational.

    4.     How to apply

    Please follow these steps to complete the process of updating your mobile phone number: 

     

    Complete and sign the form for Individuals or Non-Individuals and mail it to us at UOB Vietnam, Central Plaza Office Building, Ground Floor, 17 Le Duan, District 1, HCMC.
