Vietnam is experiencing a second wave of COVID-19 infections. In caring for the safety of our customers, colleagues and the community, we continue to maintain our proactive and precautionary measures, while ensuring that we continue to provide the services you need.
We wish to assure you that our banking services remain operational. To minimise close contact with others during this time, we encourage you to use UOB internet banking, UOB Mighty or any ATM within the NAPAS network.
If you do need to visit us, please know that we have put in the following precautionary measures to ensure the well-being of our customers, colleagues and the community:
| Ensuring safe distancing measures | ||
| At our branches and offices, our colleagues are maintaining safe distancing to minimise close contact with one another and to limit the risk of exposure for our customers. | ||
| Stepping up cleaning | ||
| We have increased the frequency of cleaning and provided hand sanitisers for our customers and colleagues at our branches and offices. | ||
| Restricting building access | ||
| We are carrying out temperature screening at our branches and offices and will decline entry to any person with a temperature of 37.5° Celsius or above. We also require all visitors to submit health and travel declarations before visiting our branches and offices. | ||
| Activating alternative work arrangements | ||
| We have implemented split-site and work-from-home arrangements to reduce the number of people at any one location, while ensuring that we continue to provide our customers with essential banking services. | ||
| Enforcing travel restrictions | ||
| We are restricting domestic travel among our colleagues to minimise travelling to the COVID-19 hotspots in line with advisories from local authorities. We also advise our colleagues against personal trips out of town and returning colleagues are required to self-quarantine at home for 14 days. | ||
| Holding virtual meetings | ||
| Instead of face-to-face meetings, we continue to hold virtual meetings via telephone and video conferencing. |
